Terminal Lance #244 “Have You?”

0

Good question.

I don’t know what it is about Drill Instructors, but for me they’re an endless well-spring of humor. Drill Instructors themselves are comical without even trying, they often become caricatures of themselves. They walk around in their waist-high belts, veins bulging from their necks, frog-voices in full swing as they try desperately to yell beyond their bodily limits (sometimes for no apparent reason). Drill Instructors do great work for Marines, recruits and the Marine Corps alike–but they’re an easy target to make fun of.

I don’t really have much else to say, but I apologize for the super late update today. I was out of town for the last couple of days without internet. In other news, if you read the Marine Corps Times newspaper, look forward to a sequel to one of the very first Terminal Lance strips “Looking Professional” in next week’s paper.

I love doing strips about Drill Instructors, so I’m making this strip available for purchase as an autographed print. If you click on the “Buy Print” button beneath this strip you can order an 8.5″x11″ high-resolution print, autographed by yours truly. All the prints are shipped via priority-mail flat-rate envelope, FPO AP shipping is available but I can’t guarantee that the print won’t get mangled in the process. (If you’re on the front page of the site and the Buy Print button isn’t showing up, click here.)

*Note: There’s a glitch in the ordering system if you order more than 1 print. Order them separately, I’ll package them together and refund the extra shipping cost to your PayPal. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Otherwise, have a great weekend and try not to shit your pants.
