I don’t mind the occasional moto-sticker. Maybe an EGA or something, tastefully placed on the rear corner of a car’s bumper as a beacon of pride to represent your accomplishments. Moto-stickers in general are fine in moderation, it’s when you see Marine Corps moto-shit plastered all over a car that it starts to become suspicious of some ulterior motive. We get it, you’re a Marine. On a base full of Marines though, what is the point of having a car painted in moto-stickers? There’s nobody to impress, your car just ends up being an eye-sore in the barracks parking lot.
I’ll be honest though, I do have one moto-sticker on my car. I was given one of those round EGA stickers that says, “I Served Honorably” with my DD-214–so I went ahead and put it on.
If there’s any sticker Marines should be rocking on their car though, it’s definitely this.
In other news, I’ve been busy as hell here, which is why I’m posting this update a little later than usual. I’ll be heading back to the bay at the end of the week though, so hopefully things will dwindle back to normal. At least until school starts up again, where I’ll be entering my senior year–which means senior project time! I have a good idea for my animated senior project, it’s Marine Corps-related so naturally I’ll be posting it here when I’m done with it.
In the meantime, tomorrow I’ll be updating Into the Mangrove with a comic from yours-truly, so make sure you check it out. Into the Mangrove updates every Wednesday with new content!
