Every single Terminal Lance comic starts out the same way: with a stupid idea that makes me laugh out loud. I’ll know I’ve got the one when I can visualize it in my own head and amuse myself to a grin.

I recorded this video externally from the so you could see the real physical drawing process from start to finish. Procreate has a very fun feature that lets you export a drawing, as it records every stroke on the page, but it’s not quite the same as watching it all get done in the flesh.

This comic also marks the 2nd appearance of the “confused and concerned journalist,” who first appeared to write a feature piece about recruit training. This character is actually modeled physically after my wife, who works in communications herself.
